“Palazzo dei Congressi” was officially opened in 1984 and since then has hosted a large number of scientific, cultural, politics, commercial and sports initiatives.
The presence of the University of Pisa provided economic, cultural and social development to the congress center and its territory. 
The congress center is located in a particular area of Pisa, near the Arno river. Highly strategic position, near to the center of Pisa, and architectural characteristcs give particular importance to the congress center building. The construction is set on three levels.

By train: Palazzo dei Congressi is 1.4 km from Pisa Central Station. Easily accessible on foot (15 minutes - see Google Maps indications) and by bus (LAM RED Line station ascent, Matteotti descent

By car: from motorway exit at "Pisa centro" and follow the signs towards the center. The Palazzo dei Congressi is located in Lungarno Buozzi, which runs along the right bank of the Arno river. Parking (€) is available in front of the venue

The Auditorium is a large amphitheatre room with a perfect acoustic that can seat up to 500 people and is ideal for congresses, meetings, conferences, concerts and performances.


Fermi and Pacinotti are very similiar and can be connected to the Auditorium, with a total capacity of 1000 people. They are located along the gallery of the first floor and they can seat up to 250 people each: thanks to the Modular Wall System they can be totally indipendent.


Galilei Hall is located on the ground floor: the room is a multipurpose space. It can accommodate up to 120 people and it is ideal not only for meetings but also for exhibitions and catering areas. Inside the room a stairway links the space below to a relax area that can be used for slide-center, press rooms, etc.


There are other several meeting rooms that can host from 10 to 100 people.



The galleries (ground floor and first floor) are particularly suitable for exhibitions, catering events, poster sessions. The gallery on the first floor is totally surrounded by an external big wall of glass that provides natural light to the space.


The Congress Center has an external area of 500 mq that can be used for catering, exhibition, parking...
